Narrative Bio
Ataman Girisken is a digital visual artist working at the intersection of performance, projection, video mapping and generative systems. With a background in computer science, he develops immersive visual environments where image, light and movement function as performative elements.
His practice explores memory, ritual and collective perception through stage design, video installations, video mapping and site-specific works. He collaborates internationally with choreographers, theatres and cultural institutions.
Working Method
The work often begins with narrative structure and choreography rather than image output. Visual systems are designed as responsive partners to bodies, space and sound. Depending on context, these systems can be fully authored timelines, live generative engines, or hybrid structures.
